WELCOME BACK CHEERLEADER INFORMATION!

 

 

**HC Cheer Camp August 2nd & 3rd 4-8 pm @ Lincoln Way North-Enter through the Field House around the back of the school.

 

**Parent HC sneak peek performance Tuesday, August 3rd @ 7:40.

 

**If your daughter has not been sized for uniform, shoes, HC Wear, etc. this will be done on Monday @ 4:00 at the High School. 

 

**If you are registering your daughter on Monday, PLEASE make sure you have completed the forms off the website and have included your camp form.

 

**NO CHEER practice on Wednesday, August 4th.

 

**Cheer practice from 6-7:30 on August 5th and 6th @ Main Park for all cheer squads.

IMPORTANT READ:  CHANGES IN FIRST WEEK OF FOOTBALL PRACTICES

Due to a Park District field conflict football practices had to be moved to a different location.

Mon. 8/2  5:45 pm-7:45 pm: 
All Tackle Players Practice (Non-Contact) at Green Meadow.   Except Varsity: field availability is still being determined. No pads or helmet are needed on Monday since it is only a non-contact/conditioning practice.
Wear shirt, shorts, & spikes only. Bring large water bottles. Thermos style work the best.

The remaining practices are in full gear.  (pads & helmet)
Tues. 8/3  5:45 pm-7:45 pm:  Main Park
Wed. 8/4  5:45 pm-7:45 pm:Green Meadow
Thurs. 8/5  5:45 pm-7:45 pm: Main Park
Fri. 8/6  5:45 pm-7:45 pm: Main Park

If you have not received your equipment, you can pick it up on Monday, 8/2 at Main Park.  4:00 - 6:30

BURROS 2010 TACKLE FOOTBALL CAMP
 

Dates: Mon. 7/26, Tues. 7/27, Thurs. 7/29
(Rain dates: 7/28, 7/30)

Time: 5:45-8:00 pm

New Location: Lincoln-Way East
 

Remember to bring plenty of water and a towel. Wear shirt, shorts, socks, football spikes or athletic shoes, and sun block.

Note:  All tackle players are welcome.  If you have not signed up for football camp at this time, please come to LWE at 5:30 on July 26th to sign up!

The Mokena Burros is offering cookie dough & gourmet popcorn for one of our 2010 fundraisers .  Cheerleaders/Tackle Football players should have already received their order forms at equipment handout.  If you DID NOT receive a form, the forms will be available from your team moms on the first day of practice.  All flag players will receive their forms at the first day of practice.
   
Below is a list of important details and dates.
 
Required minimum to sell:  10 tubs for each player/cheerleader
 
Selling price:  $10 per tub
 
Forms due to team parents:  No later than Wednesday, August 11, 2010
 
Delivery date:  Wednesday, September 15th, 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm 
 
Delivery location:  Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mokena
 
Buyout amount: $60 (Allows you to pay for the fundraiser rather than sell the cookie dough/popcorn.)

All tackle players (Widgets-Varsity) must be present at 7:00 a.m. for the official 1st Weigh-in. All tackle players must have a birth certificate on file with the Burros prior to weigh in.

Support the Burros Organization!

Dine In or Carry Out at Giordano's on Aug. 18th & Sept. 23rd.  Giordano's will donate a portion of the proceeds back to the Burros!  Just hand in the flyer when paying for your pizza.  It is that simple!  Include your team name on the flyer.  Be on the team that spends the most on these 2 days, and your team will receive a FREE pizza party.  One football & one cheer team will win!  Note:  Flyer will be posted soon.
