Tackle Camp will be held on Monday, July 28, Tuesday, July 29, and Thursday, July 31 at Lincoln Way East High School from 5:30-7:30pm. Tackle Camp is $50.00. Camp allows the coaching staff to get a jump start on the season by meeting and working with all players on various drills and techniques. High School football players will be assisting in the camp. All tackle players are encouraged to attend. Each player will receive a camp t-shirt.
Flag Camp will be held on Wednesday, July 30, and Friday, August 1 behind United Methodist Church on LaPorte Road from 5:30-7:00pm. Flag Camp is $30.00. Coaches will instruct the players on fundamentals and techniques and begin to prepare them for the flag season. High School football players will be assisting in the camp. Each player will receive a camp t-shirt.

The Mokena Burros and USA Football are partners in "Heads Up Football", an initiative to help make the sport of football better and safer.
The Burros Board of Directors and coaches have worked hard to continually replace and update the best equipment and provide the highest level of instruction and environment for a fun, successful and safe football experience. All Mokena Burros coaches are certified in USA Football's Heads Up Program and receive ongoing training on an annual basis.

With the increase in concern over player safety in youth football, USA Football has released findings from a two-year study to advance player health and safety in organized youth tackle football. The study, which encompassed more than 4,000 players ages 5-14, documented player health and any sustained injuries during the course of the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Burros Varsity Raises National Championship Trophy
Congratulation Burros' Varsity
The Burros' varsity players traveled to Atlanta, Georgia over Thanksgiving and competed in the Turkey Day Classic National Tournament. They defeated the Prince Frederick Eagles from Maryland to win the national championship.
Burros went 3-0 and fought hard in an 8-6 victory in the championship game to win the trophy!
